Ahh, mashups… like this one today “Yelling Physical Me“.
Mashups: when somebody (more talented than me) combines one or more song instrumentals with one or more song acapellas. The result can be funny, inspiring, impressive or just amazing to dance to.
Sometimes I’ll be posting tracks from my collection that are 10-15 years old. But not today. This track is one that I’ve been blasting in the car for the past month or two and it’s brilliant.
Just before I tell you about today’s track, a quick refresh on how I’m sharing the 200+ mashups I’ve collected over the years.

So this week’s mashup is…
Yelling Physical Me by DJ Tripp.
You get artist-of-the-moment The Weeknd (with my track of the year, Blinding Lights) plus pop queen Dua Lipa, and 80s legends Billy Idol and A-ha. That’s a pretty potent combintion of 2020’s greatest with 2 of the biggest names from the decade that taste forgot. (Well, except in terms of music – there was a stack of great music in the 80s.)
Oh, and if that’s not enough, someone’s even mashed up a videoclip for you.
